How does this work?

For non-personalized, limited edition prints, the art will be sent directly to the printer and then shipped.

For personalized prints, you will need to approve a proof before the art is sent to the printer. After customizing your Main Street Art Corner giclée print online, you will receive an email from our Customer Service team with your proof within 1-2 business days. You will then work with our team to finalize and sign off on the proof before the print goes to press. Any additional change requests received after you have approved your final proof will be charged at $25 per change provided your print has not yet gone to press.

Is what I customize online final?

No, the online customization is just a starting point for you and our designers to work from. Our professional designers will work with you to create your personalized, one-of-a-kind print before it is sent to press.

What is a giclée?

The term “giclée” is derived from French and connotes an elevation in printmaking technology. Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas and fine art paper. The giclée printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction and stretched canvas giclée prints can be accented with paint and brushstrokes to make the print look even more realistic.

Giclée prints are created typically using professional 8-Color to 12-Color ink-jet printers capable of producing incredibly detailed prints for both the fine art and photographic markets. The quality of the giclée print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries.

Will the colors be the same as what I see on my screen?

All monitors display colors differently. Your finished print may vary slightly depending on your monitor. Make sure your monitor has been recently calibrated for the best results. Or try viewing your proof on different screens if you are still unsure about your color selection. We cannot offer refunds once the print has been made.

Do I get to approve my print before it is made?

Absolutely! After you complete your order, we will send you a digital proof via email once your design is ready. Only after you approve your proof will we will send it to the printer.

How will my print be shipped?

All our prints are packaged to ensure they will arrive safely. Paper prints are carefully rolled around an inner tube, covered in kraft paper, placed into an outer tube and sent via UPS Ground. Canvas prints are custom crated in wood boxes before being shipped.

How long will it take until I receive my print?

Limited edition, non-personalized prints typically ship within 2-4 weeks.

For personalized art, you will receive an emailed proof to approve within 1-2 business days of your order’s acknowledgement. Once approved, you will receive your custom Main Street Art Corner print within 2-8 weeks depending on the options you have selected.

What if I receive my print with a mistake on it?

If your order has a spelling error caused by Main Street Art Corner, return the order for a FREE replacement. We will reimburse the shipping costs, reprint the order, and return ship to you FREE of charge. If a change is required because of on an error on your part, we will create a new order for 50% of the original purchase price plus shipping for returning it to you. Just utilize the original shipment packaging and repackage securely before shipping back.

Can I return my print or make changes after it has been received?

Due to the custom nature of our products, Main Street Art Corner does not accept returns for any reason other than spelling errors as described above. Once the order is approved, we cannot change or cancel your order outside of the e-mail notification system.

Can I change the colors of my custom Main Street Art Corner print?

We’ve created several options for each print to capture a broad range of color schemes. If the color selections we offer don’t work for your needs, please contact us and we will make every attempt to accommodate your request.

How do I care for my Main Street Art Corner print?

It’s important to observe a few simple guidelines which will keep your Main Street Art Corner giclée print looking beautiful for many years. 

Although each print is treated to preserve the colors, the art should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Prints should be stored or displayed in a controlled environment where ideally the temperature is not below 60 degrees or above 90 degrees Fahrenheit and the humidity is not below 40% or above 60%.

Prints should be cleaned by brushing lightly with a feather duster or cotton towel. Do not use use solvents or household cleaning products to clean the your print.

What if my print arrives damaged?

Our rolled prints are sent using a tube within a tube system to ensure they arrive safely. Our canvas prints are custom crated in wood boxes.

That said, accidents can happen. In the unfortunate situation when something arrives damaged, please hold on to all packaging materials, take pictures of the damage and contact us immediately at support@mainstreetartcorner.com. We will make sure a reprint is sent to you as soon as possible!
